Race 1: I think this race boils down to 4 contenders i.e 1-4-7-9 and Lone Trojan if he takes a level start. My first choice on handicap and track work is Musical Rhythm, to win from Elementto Code,.

Race 3: Flaming Ace, won very impressively last time today running the right distance should win again from Cosmopolitan,

Race 4: Mile will be out of the compass for Salute The Star, hence avoidable. which leaves 4 horses in serious contentions.i.e 2-5-7-8. My first pick is Caustic Finale, to win from Cabriolet, but since horses 2-7-8 has the Naredu and H Metha factor it will pay to watch which horse is backed in the ring. I personally am going to have a each way punt on Red Dragon, who has the right jockey and right distance did not have any luck in his last race and can cause a major upset here make note.

Race 5: Western Challenge, has the credentials but has to beat Indian Summer, to prove them.

Race 6: what a joke of a race 8 horse 2-3-5-6-7-11-14-17 interlinked in naredu/shroff/H Metha syndicate if you are not sure on which horse the right money is then stay away from this race. of the rest of the runners its safe to say horses 4-12-13-16 are out due to form or jockey factors.Bella, stands tall from the rest and my first choice to win.Cameo, is the dark horse that has come to hand and can upset.

Race 7: Star Crowned, who was not ridden on her merits last time is a worthy favorite however if I was person who backed favorite horses I would stay away from her today, the main reason is today company has some very talented first timers and the ones that have had a run have been prepared with this race in mind too so its best to stay away. from the horses that have had a benefit of a run besides the favorite Estevez, is very impressive and my first choice to win from the favorite. From the firsttimers San Rafael, last spurt was very very good and if he can produce this run he will win and is my choice of a each way bet.Super King, looks like a speedy horse dont ignore for minor bets.

Race 8: THE MCDOWELL SIGNATURE INDIAN DERBY

1.  ANTONIOS : Here is the Joker in the pack will stay better then stablemate, has very talanted jockey aboard in my opinion is the most underrated colt in the field finished 4 1/2 lengths behing Autonomy in the 2000G and is rated 72 as compared to 115 for auto. Was covering a lot of ground last time will stay all day and if luck is on his side he will cause a major upset.

2.  AUTONOMY : Has always done what he has been asked to do will be ridden by the best jockey in the set has been prepared with only one goal in mind. Will be in the top 4 and is the main danger to the Wonder Filly.

 3.  DANCING DYNAMITE : His is the Holding Court of this Era.. BIG HEART. I personally dont believe he can stay but I do know that when the final results will be called his name will be in it.

4.  FALCON CREST : talanted horse but not upto this set.

5.  FANTASTIC QUEST : Also Ran

6.  GO GUZZI GO : Same as Above

7.  JUVENTUS : One of the main contenders for the minor placings unlikey to eclipse his brothers image (Hotstepper) 

8.  STAR PRESENTATION : Ramus main hope, I was very impressed with his last run when he was given a easy run as it was his ( first run after being gelded ) was finishing on and today will relish the step up in distance and the long mumbai straight, Drawn 14 will suit his style of running and he will be there in the finish line past the 200 mts mark is he good enough to beat the wonder filly we can wait and see.

9.  TELSTAR : will be aprox 100-1 place

10.  ABS FABS : the most rested of all the fillies has the potential to be in the top 4 but she has been given very light preparation which is unlike the trainers style can she win 3  derbies ?? I think yes but I will leave her due to the poor trackwork

11.  ICEBREAKER: I was surprised at he performance in the oaks she dererves a second chance as she is one of the few horses that can stay the trip and if the heat does not get the better of her she will be right there.

12.  NORA : will run ahead of Flacon creast

13.  RIYASAT : will improve further from her last run only if she has recovered from it and will need a lot of luck from draw 3 as she likes to gallop from the outside.

14.  SET ALIGHT : Needs no introduction if she can handle the heat and stay the trip ?? the race is over. My Major worry is the draw which is not in her favor plus I cant understand why Malesh with no dis respect for the vetren... The big question is not wether She will win today but IF She will loose today my opinion is Yes she is beatable but it will take a monstrous effort to do so.

15.  VEERA WANG : She can sneek a Place at Long odds.

Race 10: Alexus, is tracking well but first run as a 4yo hardly any trackwork is a worry avoidable. how ever only 2 horses can beat the favorite .Elegante, is my choice to win from Flying Spirit, who can repeat but will certainly place.

Looks like a card for fancied runners with a couple of surprises

Race 1: Looks to be between the the fisrt 4 horses Nymph, is definately a joker in the pack but watch market to decide. Solor, Lost in the last few strides last run will have come up a lot since that run and should win today.Devilitto, will keep the former honest but looks like the horse has not come to hand yet.

Race 2: Slickkit, is running class VB not because of her talent but because of the intentions of the connections, If she was with any of the top 10 trainers she would be in Class 2 once again today par malpractice she should win. Fluent Victory, is the dark horse here make not worth a small eachway punt or place atleast.

Race 3: Aurora Aurealis, will find this distance sharp but has enugh class to beat this set.Premier Queen, is a far improved horse and can upset.

Race 4: Lyrical Lass, is my first pick to win here from Whispering Willows, make note of Tudor Regent, who is a stable mate to the favorite but i believe can upset here or even place at good odds.

Race 5: Par mishap Cest Bon, should win but Tyumen, is a better value bet in place.

Race 6: I think there will be an upset here and Major Roberts, is my first choice to win from Spirituall, . Covenant, who did not have the luck of the race last time is the dark horse and can upset too or alleast place at long odds.

Race 7: The terms of the race suit Mighty Crusader, who is improving with every run but my first choice is Amore Mio, who won unfancied last time and has improved well since then to win from the favorite. Arts, is very well suited by this distance and can upset will certainly place make note.

Race 8: Gentle Knight, is well rested and well prepared to win here from Pretty Commission, who blew herself up when she paced with dancingig glory in a very fast pace today you can see her in a different light. Race 3: Dancing Glory, should win this on class but the choice of jockey is interesting and the fact that the horse has shown no real form in any of his last 5 runs is a worry hence avoidable.Pretty Commission, is tracking well was beaten hands down last time but seems to have improved since then is my first choice to win from Recardo, whose last run was amazing and today in a 7flg race looks a certain place and can win too worth a eachway bet.  Chios, can upset

Race 4: This is a tricky race as most of the fancied runners are speedy and they can blow each other away hence I am going for second wind horses and Secret Affair, is my first choice to win from Rubaiyat, the race looks between the two.

Race 5: it is interesting to see that in a 15 horse field 11 horses are non triers which only means the focus is on 1-3-14-15. Clarion Call, should not have any trouble winning here Par MAL Practice from Exotic Star, who has a decent pull in handicap and can upset the former or should win if the former flops. Make note of Expensive Affair, for a small eachway bet or a decent place  bet.

Race 6: Supreme Emperor, who has a positive change in jockey plus a 3kg handicap is my first choice to win from Spearhead, who although running for the first time in mumbai will be well suited on the mumbai straight and can Upset.

Race 7: the race looks to be between 3-5-7 My first choice is Feet Of Flames, who is fit enough and can win from Star Impact, who was a impressive winner last time can repeat. Beau Monde, who lost last time due to the incometancy of the jockey can make ammends and upset unless ladads tries a different horse maybe Appreciate??

Race 8: Rokeby Venus, who ran a brave race last time is well rested and my first choice to win from The Pearl, who seems to have been prepared with this race in mind.Captivating, is definately a good horse but first run in mumbai is a worry.

Race 10: once again of the 15 runners only 3 or 4 horses mean business. My first choice is Pomme De Terre, to win from Kapathos, who seems to be a one paced horse which is not good.Adams Law, who can repeat and  Rave On, who is ready for a strike are the ones who can upset here.

I think today card is dedicated to small time trainers owners and jockeys will pay to follow them.

Race 1: American Idol, should win from Above All, both horses have been hiding true form for a long time.Secret Agenda, is the dark horse that will certainly place and can upset at long odds

Race 2: Siooux Chief, has the best credentials to win today but I have very little faith in the jockey here hence I am going for second best that is Dangerous Belle, who has the best jockey in the set. Black Partridge, can upset
