Mixed card today and will be a tough day for punters from race 3 onward. Go slow and look for value or relax and enjoy your day out.



Race 1: Gamble Race best to avoid.Horses 2-3-4 are closely matched. Forest Spirit, and Lady Mandy, have a slight edge.

Race 2: Gamble Race best to avoid. Horses 1-3-4-5-9 look like contenders here. If Money comes on Voice Of India, he should win.

Race 3) Open Race horses 2-4-6-7-8 have a fair chance to win hence a value ew bet is recommended.Thoughts N Actions, represents value intent is unknown however will be the one to beat.Make My Day, is the joker in the pack has run against far superior animals and has run close too can Upset or place at good odds.

Race 4: Youngsters hence avoidable Wind Of Soul, is running first up and looks fit and tracking well.Macedonian, has some issues and its best to leave him alone till the connections sort out the problem.Athletic Star,  has been a subject of big gambles all his 3 runs but failed, first run after gelding tracking ok.Saltoftheearth, should improve from her last run but is she good enough is a ?? Zermatt, is has improved a lot as evident from her track movements has the experience and my first choice. Make note of Caesars Star, he is the best on track, In care of good trainer who understands his horses and if he dint think highly of him he wouldnt have brought a unraced 3yo to Bangalore. I am personally having a small bet on him as his odds will represent value.

Race 5: Indian Bolt, if ridden on merit should win Smart Exotic, should run a improved race and will keep the former honest. Make note of Indravati, is tracking very well loves wet conditions and should finish in the fray can upset.

Race 6: THE FILLIES CHAMPIONSHIP STAKES (GR.2)


 1) Angel's Kiss,: Well bred tracking well and has a jockey who knows how to win big races is awkwardly drawn and has a few equipment changes which is a worry. 


2) Centrestage,: Impressive winner first up I can see a Set Alight in her mile looks like her Optimum distance but and if she has recovered from her last run well she will be right there. I feel she is better of the 2 Pesi animals.


3) Chase The Sun, : Won well first up but not sure if she has the class.


4) Cocktail Circuit,: Needs time however is a nice animal and will improve from her last run but not sure if she is ready yet.


5) Jersey Girl, : Won well first up tracking well and rested too will like the underfoot conditions but I have my doubts on her staying ability hence best left alone.


6) Maple Star,: A horse with a big heart and will be right there loves close races and knows how to win all signs of a champion.


7) Mzima,: I personally feel she is the better of the two from malesh's stable and will run a great race but not sure about her class can win if all goes her way but will be right there.


8) Nickel Chrome,: Wont Stay and Lacks Class.


9) Portia,: Good horse but last run was not impressive I know she won but her timing and her finishing effort needs to improve a lot to win here.


10) Silverina,: If you are looking for a rank Outsider in this race then dont look further. She ran a great race first up and giving weight to good horses. Did look a bit light on that day but last spurt suggest she is good to go and i do believe she will run a great race and if the jockey can handle his nerve can Upset.


12) State Secret, : Last run was disappointing tracking well but not today.

13) Turf Lightning,: Has clocked an excellent timing when she last won has enough speed to blow the field away. Choice of jockey is a ??? but she will be the first one turning for home and if she stays she will be in the thick of things.

15) Vijays Pride,: Ran a good second to the former needed that run will improve a lot and will get better over the mile trip I personally feel she is the one to beat.

In a broader view to the race at least 9 of the 13 horses have a realistic chance to win here, Fillies improve with every run hence it can be any bodies race and luck will play a major role in the outcome. Its better to look for Value here and horses 2-10-13-15 represent value my final 3 are as follows.My person bets will be on 10-15 ew.

Race 7: Looks a straight fight between the bottom 3 horses. Intent and Jockey skills will decide the outcome.


Tips: 7) Casanova,                  Upset: 8) Flying Tricolour,.


Race 8: Very open race with 15 youngsters best to avoid as anything can happen.Horses 1-4-9-12-13-14 all look good and the winner should come from here.Art Of Enchantment, Pirateer, Shivalik Power, and Fantastic Star, are tracking extremely well and the last named gets the nod with a benefit of a run.

Race 9: Should be a close race here but they all have to beat Deccan Chargers, who is on a great handicap and should make the most of it.
