Pune Day 1 24 July

First day of pune. I normaly dont do much for the first 3-4 weeks and like to see the season settle and my advise would be the same for everyone.Pune course is the toughest of all and favor onlt certain horses.Even jockeys take a while to get used to the course so go very slow and enjoy the sport for a few weeks. However I do believe that the card will favort the punters today.

Race 1: The First race of the season has the least number of horses but jockeys on horses 1-2-5-6 are all inter linked to one owner who has a runner in the race if you are not sure which of the above 4 will be tried then leave the race. On paper COMBUSTION cant lose but I would stay away from the favorite due to 3 factors.1 M Narredu,2,He has not won in Pune yet and 3) H Methta. If you are a follower of favorites be careful. only 2 horses can trouble the favorite and my first pick is HERE COMES THE DON whos first run is his best run and in this small field will run away. MEDTIAS PRIDE loves the pune track is drawn very well and is tracking well too and can upset.

Race 2: TSESEBE is a good horse and should win here only danger looks to come from ONUS PROBANDI who wont make it easy for the favorite and looks certain in place.the rest look well handled.

Race 3: SECRET ADMIRER is running after 5 months with no track work which is a bit strange follow market trend on her in the ring and paddock condition if fit the horse will win if not then its an open affair POLAR GLOW is the one to watch.

Race 4: In my opinion CRESCENDO is not a VB horse and is capable to run this set of its feet..

Race 5: Very open race with too many firsttimers and 3yos its best left alone my first pick is
SARJERAO but race is avoidable.

Race 6: AQUADISIAC is my first pick to win from CAIRNDHU . MING is definately the dark horse.

Tips: AQUADISIAC / CAIRNDHU Upset: MING

Race 7: the wide daraw is a worry for ANGELS GLORY in this sprint and can cause her a lot of trouble if she cant hit the front early on.hence I am giving DAFFODILS a slight edge over the Favorite. BLUE BLAZE will be right there and can upset.

Race 8: LIVERPOOL might find this distance sharp and if he does then WILD TORRONAADO can upset.

Race 9: Only wrong intentions can see TOP ROMANCE lose here only danger is VIJAYI BHAVA .
