Pune Day 1:

Pune races in the early stages is best avoided I personally stay away from it as its difficult to judge conditions of horses who are running first up after a break. Initial speed is very important early in the season and mainly front runners or secondwing horses should dominate. Trainers like Lagad,Katrak Antia and Vinayak should have a interesting day however follow the market as it will lead you in the right direction. I am hesitante to tip today but am doing it just for the excersise hence Proceed with caution.

Race 1: Race for donkeys of which Real Dream, is probably a decent type but the trainers who wins every leap year cant say muck abt it hence I am giving Es Sider, a chance to win going by track from Last Nights Sonnet, who has shown some Zest for racing . make note of Seen It All, win looks unlikely but place is not out of the radar.

Race 2: Cherokee, on paper and track movements looks good however is running on this track for the first time and running in Steels Shoe and if the trainer is following her fathers foot steps whos horses never win in Steele plate please be aware. hence proceed with caution.Anamika, should follow

Race 3: Rokeby Venus, is running outside of terms races for the first time has run some good races in the past and should win here from First Empire, who is tracking well but that does not mean anything to this connections. Make note of Bemisaal, who will pick up a few races this season and can easily start today dont ignore for minor or hedge bets.

Race 4: Not a lot of depth should see a straight fight between Free Spirit, and Polariser, the latter in my opinion should get his maiden win today Asclepieion, is the dark horse if tried can upset

Race 5: First class one race of the season although it is a tough call as I am not too confident of the jockey I still think Prince Lochinva, will repeat today from Ikaria, the race should be between the two.

Race 6: Sea Of Kisses, and Weizhou, should fight it out the Former has a slight edge. Make note of Indian Summer, who is at a decent handicap and can upset as his first run is his best run.

Race 7: Red Romeo, par mishap should win from either Schnell, or Portrush, the latter can also win if his blood vessel doesnot give in.

Race 8: A race best left alone as too many first timers however only 5 horses seem to be on job but in a big field like this its best to avoid.

My first pick is Super King, to beat Fragrances, make note of Celtic Manor, can upset
